BARRACK
The first concerns of music for Alex Fuente a.ka. (Barrack) began at 1987 at his early age 10, when he mixed his first records in a disco - bar from his father in Playa Chacmol, Cancun.
In the mid-nineties and with 18 years of age, his taste for electronic music is defined by playing in the early electronic stages of Cancun. And it is in the Ola lounge, where it forms part and establishes the foundations of the first generation of the progressive movement in the main tourist destination in Latin America.
He is currently a founding partner of the Akbal Music collective with his blood brother Robbie Akbal.
In this time, Barrack has shared turntables with top DJs worldwide, including Hernan Catanneo, Anthony Pappa, Paul Oakenfold, Chris Fortier, Dj Nukem, DJ-T, Dj Gogo, James Monroe, Jay Tripwire, Audiofly. Mandy , Wiildark ,Mark Allow, Facundo Mohr, Glauco Di Mambro, Mark Alow just to name a few.
The stages of his performances have been very varied and exotic: for the same reason that he has played in Miami, Barcelona , Costa Rica and in cenotes and caves all over the Mayan Riviera in Mexico.
Barrack is recognized for his long sets where he can combine various genres.
